“What just happened when I said “yes“ to Jesus?“
Placing your faith in Jesus Christ is the greatest decision you could ever make. The Bible calls it “being saved”. “Saved from what?” you might ask. You are saved from an eternity separated from God. You have just entered into a relationship with the Creator of the universe. And whether you know it or not, He has been lovingly pursuing you since day one. By placing your faith in Christ, the Bible says that all your sins – past, present, and future have been forgiven. Until now, these sins have separated you from God, who, being holy, cannot tolerate sin. Christ’s forgiveness bridges this gap and makes relationship with God possible.
